Backpack Program

During the school year we provide 115 children with meals for the week-end. These are kid-friendly meals that require little or no preparation. Each new school year this number grows. Without the support of the community we would not be able to meet these children's needs.
Area Food Drives

Last school year we held Food Drives in some of the Hardin County Schools. We will do this again in September which is Hunger Awareness Month. If you would like to contribute non-perishable foods and canned goods that are not expired, send them to school with your children.
Chili Cook Off

​
November 1st we will be hosting the first annual Chili Cook-Off at Hardin County Fairgrounds. If you have the perfect recipe for Chili, come on out and get cooking. You may win a trophy or a little cash. There will be more information ot follow after August 15th.
Sponsor a Child

​
In an ideal world, no one would go to bed hungry, we would not need donations and everyone would have enough to share. Unfortunately that is not reality. We need donations and volunteers. Just $40 per month will sponsor a child. If everyone could help as much as they are able, together we can make a difference.
